In Manila, the bus David had hoped to get on to go straight to Baguio was “full”, requiring David to wait 2 hours until 1 a.m. for the next bus. Again, God answered your prayers, and one seat opened up for him to get on the 11 p.m. bus.
Praise the Lord, David arrived safely in Baguio at 4 a.m. After sleeping a little, he then began teaching at 8:30 a.m. Thanks to your prayers, God helped David to be able to teach all day and in the evening session.
Yesterday, (Friday) David taught all day again. Praise the Lord, the classroom was full with students for these two classes. Also, Praise the Lord, God is already opening doors for new opportunities to teach another group of churches the next time David goes out to the Philippines. We are excited that at these classes there are a number of churches participating, sending workers to study from the surrounding provinces.
Please pray as David preaches this Sunday in Mangaldan. Also, please pray as Pastor Diawa and David will travel to Leyte(spending 2 days) to teach these courses there. This will be a travel marathon by bus, then boat and jeep, to get to Leyte. Please pray for safety, health and strength for David and Pastor Diawa.
