Dear praying folks,
We are blessed with so many faithful prayers for Joy’s broken arm. We have good news. The surgeon thinks her shoulder can heal without surgery, with proper care. X-rays show that the position of the broken bones had actually improved. Joy must not use the arm, and we must be careful not to let it get bumped. The doctor says we can continue on our ministry trip up north this week. Joy’s therapy will begin when we return to Birmingham the end of July, to prepare us for our trip to the Philippines the end of August. Please keep praying for Joy’s continual pain, and for protection from jarring the shoulder so the arm will heal properly.
Pray also for safe travel and good meetings with supporting churches and potential partners for our work.
