Good News! Angels announced the good news of Christ’s birth to shepherds. The shepherds then ran from the country into town to tell everyone that Jesus was born. Filipino believers outside Malasiqui want to move into town to bring the good news to as many people as they can, by moving to the center of town. These workers have faithfully joined in our church planting training. As we met with them in November, they said they are encouraged to have help from a sister church with evangelistic outreaches, Bible studies, and cell groups.
Great Joy! An hour from Malasiqui, Faith Bible Christian Church of Mangaldan has volunteered to help the Malasiqui church. Their willingness comes, not only from their training, but from their own experience. They too, were established through the sacrifice of church workers from a sister church in Gerona, two hours away from them. Now they have the opportunity to sacrifice for their own daughter church. Their resource is people, not money.
If your entire church committed to help establish a church an hour away, but only a few members of your church owned a car, how would you do it? One way we can help these churches in the Philippines is to provide transportation for workers willing to help with a new church plant. Would you pray with us that God will provide a newer vehicle for this purpose? Our current ministry van is no longer reliable.All People!
