As April ended, so did Evangelism Camp. Once again, more than half of the 240+ youth that attended camp were unbelievers when they arrived; many returned home with changed hearts, having trusted in Christ as Savior. This, however, was not the only harvest we saw at Evangelism Camp.

Remember those 60 young people we trained in February at the Discipleship Retreat? These teens and young adults became the counselors and trainers at the Evangelism Camp. They are the harvest that will continue to multiply what we saw at Evangelism Camp. These young disciples are also potential church planters. They are eager to follow Christ, devoted to service, and work well in teams to accomplish what they are directed to do. Now, God has given them a new opportunity to help do just that.

At Evangelism Camp, pastors from the native Aeta tribes in Zambales saw these youth leading Evangelism Camp. They asked if our youth could help run a similar camp for their churches the first week in June, training their youth to lead as they did at camp. More than 200 youth are expected to attend. We praise the Lord; He has already provided a donor to help these churches host this Evangelism Camp. Thank you for seeing the value of training workers to serve Christ from within their own churches. Thank the Lord with us for giving them opportunities to reach out from their churches to multiply other churches as well. Your prayers and financial support are helping us fulfill this vision of church multiplication through CPI.

Praise God…
- For youth willing to be trained to serve Christ.
- For a fruitful Evangelism Camp, and for the example these camp workers gave to the Aeta tribal churches.
- For several one-time gifts that will help with our ministry travel to churches this summer.
Please pray…
- For the opportunity and funding to help the Aeta tribal churches train their own disciples to host an Evangelism Camp.
- That our area youth workers will multiply themselves by training youth from the Aeta tribal churches to conduct their own Evangelism Camp.
- That this Evangelism Camp among the Aetas will give our youth a hunger to go beyond their own churches in helping to start new churches.
- For God to provide for our ministry needs, for regular prayer and financial support.
