With All Our Hearts

“With All Our Hearts”
We would like to announce
the marriage of

Rachel Faith Weaver
to
Christopher George Sabol

January 4, 2020.

Rachel and Chris were married in a beautiful outdoor wedding, with immediate family and close friends attending. Rachel, our second daughter, met Chris while she was attending Columbia International University, where she received her master’s degree in counseling. Chris and Rachel appreciate your prayers as they begin their new life together. The newlyweds would love to hear from you!

Heart CPR

(from the wedding message)

Christ does CPR on our hearts so we can live and love the way He intends for us to love.
C-The call to love –  “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14‭
P-The person to love – “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus…” Colossians 3:17
Christ-centered love removes the need for the spouse to respond properly in order for you to love. It makes your life truly free, loving Christ through your loving actions to your spouse.
R-The results of love – When Christ performs His CPR, we become pure, compassionate, kind, humble, meek, patient, forbearing, forgiving, loving, in perfect harmony, peaceful, thankful, worshipful in our love toward each other. Colossians 3:12-17 -David Weaver

Grateful Hearts

We are grateful Joy’s sister, Faith, and family, were able to join us this Christmas. She was diagnosed last May with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, yet has continued to be active.  Tests show the cancer is advancing. She is receiving treatment, asking God for more good time with her family.

Heart Issues

The email is not what we wanted to hear. Jeremiah Diawa wrote to tell us that his father, our coworker of 27 years, Pastor Leo Diawa, had been rushed to the hospital. His blood pressure was 230/90, and then came “down” to 160/90. Now, doctors are checking his prostate and a spot on a lung for cancer in addition to the issues with his heart. We are concerned that doctors are already recommending prostate surgery.

Pastor Diawa is the head pastor of Faith Bible Christian Church, the church we established together. He also runs the day-to-day operation of the Church Planting Institute, and oversees the church planting efforts of our trainees. We are praying for his complete healing.  I (David) am scheduled to go to the Philippines February 11, to train church planters.  I have always depended on Pastor Diawa to set up my itinerary while I am there. Please pray with us for this faithful servant of Christ. We really need him in the ministry with us!

Thanks, From Our Heart!

We are so thankful to God for each of you who pray for us and for our work. God gave us a special answer to your prayers by providing the funds needed for a ministry van. We are now working to get the funds to the Philippines without incurring unnecessary taxes. You also prayed (and gave!) in December so that we were able to cover some of our past ministry expenses. This was a timely blessing, as we had two very expensive car repairs at the end of December. God is faithful!

With servant hearts,
David & Joy & Weaver family
