We asked you to pray for this Aeta tribe in Zambales. Workers from the Malasiqui church went to Zambales to hold an Evangelistic Youth Camp with the Aetas, and over 200 Aeta children came.

These youth workers continued their outreach in Mangaldan among families living as squatters along a discontinued railroad. The Philippine government has provided space along the railroad to develop as a meeting place for these children to learn more about Jesus.

July was an explosion of ministry, as these same youth workers were trained to lead Vacation Bible School in ten towns where we have church planting work. Once they receive further training from our Church Planting Institute graduates, these young workers will begin training as well. They will disciple the younger children who believed on Jesus to obey all He has commanded us to do.
As our church planters in CPI are learning “How to Love and Live the Heart of Jesus,” we have also been teaching an adult Sunday school class and a Bible study this summer. Preparations are beginning for a new CPI training course, and meetings are being lined up for three weeks of ministry travel to the northern states in September. Details are also coming together for a training trip to the Philippines, Lord willing, in October and November. We are grateful for each of you who faithfully pray and financially support our ministry to the family of God in the Philippines. As for our family…
Let the grandchildren come!
Daniel and Miriam are expecting their first child in December, and Rebekah and Gunner are expecting their second child in January. This news gives us special reason to say with great joy, “Let the children come!”
