Church planting training for the next few months will be on Making and Maturing Disciples of Christ. Church planters are learning that the complete process of discipleship involves “Listening, Watching, Practicing, and Doing.” Through some very humorous object lessons, they learned what goes wrong when we skip the “watching” and “practicing,” stages, and then try to “do.”
One church planter scheduled his vacation from a job in Taiwan to join our training time together in June. God is using him to start a church among the 500+ Filipino workers at the factory where he works. His supervisor recently gave permission for their church to meet in the recreation facilities of the factory.
Teens from 17 different churches invited unbelieving friends to Evangelism Camp. There they learned how to share the gospel with their friends. Praise the Lord for the teens that made professions of faith in Christ at camp. We had 5 levels of training taking place at camp: campers learning from campers, campers learning from counselors, counselors learning from group leaders, group leaders learning from camp directors, and camp directors learning from us.
As disciples are made, they need a church where they can mature in Christ. God has provided funds for the Railroad Chapel building, and for Pastor Thom’s chapel in San Fabian.
For two years, you have prayed for God to provide land for the church in Malasiqui. Your prayers are answered! God has provided funds to purchase property for the Malasiqui church! We continue to trust God for the funds for the Malasiqui church building, as well as other church plants.
We thank God for each of you who have been so faithful to help us make and mature disciples in the Philippines. Christ is using them, through your prayers and financial support, to grow His Church.

- Praise the Lord for church planters who are applying (even in Taiwan) what they learn in church planting training.
- Praise the Lord for each teen who trusted in Christ at Evangelism Camp.
- Praise the Lord for providing funds for two chapels, and for the Malasiqui church land.

- Please pray for the arrival (any day now) of Ruth and Nathanael’s first child (and future disciple of Christ!)
- Pray that Joy will soon have full use of her new knee without pain. She has finished her post-operative knee replacement therapy.
- Please pray for our travels this month to supporters and family in New York. CPI (Church Planting Institute) training continues while we are on the road via the internet.
- Continue to pray for funds needed to build the church in Malasiqui.
